Welcome to the Quiet Woman Farm...
Quiet Woman Farm Training Center is located in the Central Hudson Valley of New York State. We are a full service training facility offering one on one attention to our horses. We back our yearlings right on the farm, teaching them to jog in large sets both in our indoor 1/4 mile track, as well as the 5/8 mile outdoor track complete with a four horse starting gate and an experienced gate crew. The same team of grooms and riders will take your young horses through each step, carefully working with their individual personality traits.

Sorority Sister breaks maiden impressively at the Big A
Quiet Woman Farm graduate Sorority Sister, one of QWF's initial syndicate offerings, graduated from the maiden ranks today with an impressive victory over the Aqueduct inner dirt track. Now owned in partnership along with Sanford Robbins, LLC. and P & D Kaplan Racing, Sorority Sister broke alertly to contest the pace from the outside, responded to steady pressure down the lane and drew clear late. Running with blinkers for the first time, Sorority Sister covered the 6 furlongs over a fast track in 1:11 4/5. She was ridden to victory by Ramon Dominguez and is trained by Tony Dutrow. The victory was worth $26,400 to the syndicate and the filly's breeder, Rojan Farms, picked up $2,640 in breeder awards. Sorority Sister was purchased as a yearling by Quiet Woman
Farm in 2006. She is by Include, out of the Irish Tower mare, Even The Wind. She is a registered New York bred. To view the official chart of the race, click here.
